Terms and conditions
Last updated 13 August 2026. These terms apply when you order LinkTag products or use a LinkTag dashboard, add-on or website from LinkTag.co.uk.

1. What we supply
LinkTag supplies NFC and QR cards and a managed business page. Paid dashboard plans and optional add-ons (such as ordering, bookings, appointments, loyalty and advanced analytics) are subscriptions. The Free plan remains useful without a subscription.
2. Orders for physical cards
When you place an order you must give a business name, a valid email and a business type so we can set up the right page. Card prices shown exclude VAT unless we say otherwise. We may refuse or cancel an order if information is incomplete, payment fails, or we cannot fulfil it.
Unique scan codes and pages stay with LinkTag. You get a licence to use them for your business while your account is active.
3. Dashboard plans and add-ons
Growth, Pro and LinkTag Business, and any add-ons, renew monthly or annually as you choose at checkout or in Admin → Plan & Add-ons. Annual prices already include the saving against 12 monthly payments. Enabling extra modules can change your monthly total. We will not switch you to the LinkTag Business bundle without confirmation.
Online ordering is charged as an add-on only. LinkTag does not take a commission on those orders at present — normal payment-processing fees still apply. We may introduce a platform fee later; we will tell you before that happens.
4. Payment
Card packs are usually a one-off payment. Subscriptions are billed through Stripe. You authorise recurring charges until you cancel. If a payment fails we may pause paid features until it is resolved. Coupon and referral codes only apply if they are valid at the time of the order.
5. Your content and pages
You are responsible for menus, prices, photos, opening hours, offers and anything else published on your LinkTag page. You must have the right to use that content and must not publish anything unlawful, misleading or that infringes someone else’s rights.
6. Acceptable use
Do not misuse scan URLs, attempt to access another business’s data, overload our systems, or use LinkTag to send marketing without a lawful basis. We may suspend a page that creates a security, legal or operational risk.
7. Analytics and privacy
Our Privacy policy explains how we use personal data. Non-essential tracking on the LinkTag website and on business pages only runs after the relevant consent, except where a legal exception applies. You decide what optional tracking is offered on your own customer pages, but you must not configure it to track people before they have a real choice.
8. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel a subscription at any time; it stays active until the end of the paid period. Physical cards that have been printed or dispatched are not returnable unless they are faulty. If a card is faulty, email us within 14 days of delivery with photos and your order reference.
9. Availability
We aim to keep pages and dashboards available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, hosting issues or things outside our control can cause downtime.
10. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law. Otherwise, LinkTag is not liable for lost profits, lost data, or indirect loss, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for the relevant products or subscriptions in the 12 months before the claim.
11. Changes
We may update these terms. The current version will be on this page. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms for future orders and subscriptions.
12. Law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that you may bring a consumer claim in your local UK court where the law allows.
